Acoustic Consents Consultant

Join Assystem and help deliver one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects Assystem is seeking a Consents Consultant to join our growing Acoustics Team, supporting the delivery of HS2, the high-speed railway project. Assystem provides acoustic consultancy over a wide range of projects, from planning support or environmental permitting through to environmental impact assessments, construction support to the rail industry and compliance monitoring.

As an Assystem employee, you will be embedded within BBV’s Environmental Services team, acting in the role of Consents Consultant (Acoustics) on behalf of the project. Working as an integrated member of the client team, you’ll provide technical assurance and specialist advice on Acoustics, supporting the process of obtaining acoustic consents, in a timely manner, from each Local Planning Authority associated with the delivery of BBV’s South Region of HS2.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects while remaining part of Assystem’s expanding acoustic practice, providing long-term career opportunities across the infrastructure, nuclear and defence sectors. The role working alongside BBV, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams, you’ll provide technical assurance across a broad range of noise and vibration control activities.
