An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Façade Engineer to join one of the UK's most respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancies. Working alongside a highly experienced façade team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative building envelope solutions across a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects throughout the UK and internationally.

As a Façade Engineer, you will be involved in the design, specification and delivery of façade systems from concept through to construction. You will work closely with architects, structural engineers and specialist contractors to develop technically robust and commercially viable façade solutions.

• Produce façade designs and technical solutions for a range of new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Undertake structural and thermal assessments of façade systems.
• Prepare calculations, technical reports and design documentation.
• Develop specifications and review contractor proposals.
• Attend design team meetings, site inspections and project reviews.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout all project stages.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards, Eurocodes and current Building Regulations.
• Support junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the team.

• Degree qualified in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience working within façade engineering or building envelope design.
• Good understanding of curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing systems and façade materials.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and engineering principles.
• Experience producing engineering calculations and technical reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status (or already Chartered) would be advantageous.
