The Opportunity

Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in our Birmingham office, where you will be part of a market-leading Buildings discipline.

You'll join a local team of approximately 15 MEP engineers in Birmingham, forming part of a national network of more than 200 professionals across the UK. While our primary focus is supporting clients across the West Midlands, we also deliver projects in London and other major cities for a range of key clients.

Our work spans both dedicated MEP commissions and large multidisciplinary projects, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, and other specialist disciplines. This breadth of exposure provides an excellent environment for developing your technical skills and understanding of integrated design.

We service a national framework for a major hard FM provider, across justice and healthcare sectors, as well as residential, commercial, industrial and energy projects.

About

The Role

Day to day you'll be:

  • Supporting the delivery of MEP projects through the development of mechanical and electrical building services designs.

  • Assisting with the coordination of designs across disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.

  • Undertaking engineering calculations using industry-standard software tools.

  • Contributing to the preparation of technical specifications, reports, and design documentation.

  • Producing and developing 3D designs and models using BIM and related design software.

  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients to help deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.

We are committed to supporting employees in achieving relevant professional qualifications and accreditation.
The applicable professional qualification for this role is IEng or CEng status with the CIBSE, IET or Imech
