Are you a Design Engineer with Control Panel experience, looking to join a well-established and growing engineering business that will provide training, progression, and long-term career development?
You will be responsible for designing electrical control panels to customer and industry standards, producing detailed documentation using EPLAN, and supporting projects from concept through to testing and commissioning. This is a varied role with both office-based design work and occasional site involvement.
The company is a respected specialist in control panel design and manufacturing, with strong growth plans and a steady pipeline of projects. You will be part of a close-knit team, with opportunities to expand your technical skillset and progress your career.
This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer or Control Panel Designer who enjoys hands-on involvement, technical problem solving, and working on end-to-end engineering projects.
The Role:- Design control panels in line with customer and industry standards
- Produce schematics and documentation using EPLAN
- Support testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
- Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Provide technical support across the wider business
- Occasional UK travel and overnight stays
- Electrical Engineering qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Experience with EPLAN or similar CAD software
- Full UK driving licence
