Mobile Water Treatment Engineer X2 needed
Smethwick
£31,000 + Van and Fuel Card
BriefMobile Water Treatment Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Smethwick who are looking to employ a number of experienced and well-rounded Mobile Water Treatment Engineers.
The successful candidate must have relevant qualifications and/or experience dependant on role
Along with Legionella Awareness Training including extensive Knowledge of Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG
274 and any other relevant guidance.
- Salary: £30,000 - £31,000 per annum
- Van and Fuel card
- 24 day's holiday
- Variable annual bonus based 5-15%

Some of the main duties of the Mobile Water Treatment Engineer will include:
- Representing the water compliance as a Tier 1 Water Treatment Technician to execute the self delivery of all Water hygiene/treatment services
- Duties include but not limited to;
Temperature Monitoring, Shower head Descales, Cold Water Storage, Tank Inspections and Cleans TMV Servicing, Water Sampling - Carryout remedial works in response to quoted works
- Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems
- Ensure all site L8 logbooks where acting as the Primary Technician are in date and accurate
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience dependant on role
- Legionella Awareness Training including extensive Knowledge of Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG
274 and any other relevant guidance - TMV Servicing experience (Servicing and Testing Requirements of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV) (WH018) trained is preferable)
- Water Sampling experience including understanding of different sample suites and bottle types
- Experience in water hygiene/treatment
- Valid driving licence
