Sustainability Consultant
An established, multidisciplinary building services and sustainability consultancy are looking to appointment a Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team in either Birmingham or Nottingham.
The business works across a diverse range of high-profile projects within healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical and public sector environments, helping clients deliver more sustainable and energy-efficient buildings. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where sustainability is embedded into the design process, rather than being an afterthought.
The role will involve delivering sustainability advice across a variety of projects, working with both public and private sector clients from planning through to construction and completion.
Key responsibilities include:- BREEAM assessments for new-build and refurbishment projects
- Sustainability statements for planning
- LZC technology feasibility studies
- Passive design analysis
- Embodied and whole-life carbon modelling using One Click LCA
- Supporting wider sustainability services including ESG, WELL, SKA and circular economy assessments
- Experience delivering sustainability projects within the built environment
- BREEAM AP experience and a good working knowledge of BREEAM
- A relevant degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Architectural Technology or a related discipline
- Experience with One Click LCA is beneficial, but training can be provided
- Strong communication, organisation and project management skills
- A genuine interest in sustainable design and the drive to develop within the sector
