The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of an established technology solutions provider operating within the parking management and intelligent transport sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support, maintain and troubleshoot a range of car parking systems, payment kiosks, ANPR technology, network infrastructure and associated software platforms across customer sites throughout the Midlands and surrounding regions.
This role would suit a technically minded engineer with experience in IP networking, software troubleshooting, IT systems, electronic fault finding and field-based customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning and maintenance of car park management systems.
- Service and support of parking payment kiosks, ticketing equipment and access control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults relating to:
- IP networks and communications
- Switches, routers and network-connected devices
