Lime Hospitality are currently recruiting for experienced and commercially driven Events Managers to join a range of established hotels, wedding venues, conference centres and event spaces across Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Birmingham
.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Manager who enjoys combining client relationship management, event sales and operational delivery
.
You will be responsible for managing events from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring every client receives an exceptional experience while maximising revenue and commercial opportunities for the venue.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full event journey from initial enquiry through to event completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate customers and event organisers.
- Handle event enquiries, consultations, site visits and proposals.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations, packages and contracts.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and increase event revenue.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Manage weddings, private functions, corporate events, conferences and other large-scale events.
- Coordinate with operational teams, chefs, suppliers and external contractors.
- Produce detailed event plans and function sheets.
- Conduct pre-event meetings and client briefings.
- Ensure events are delivered within agreed budgets and to the required standards.
- Manage event budgets, invoicing and financial performance.
- Oversee event set-up, delivery and breakdown.
- Manage and motivate event teams to deliver exceptional service.
- Resolve client queries and operational issues quickly and professionally.
- Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
- Ensure all events comply with Health & Safety, licensing and food safety requirements.
We are looking for an experienced Events Manager with a genuine passion for hospitality and events.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an Events Manager, Senior Events Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience with in a hotel, wedding venue, conference centre, events venue or hospitality environment.
- Strong sales and business development skills.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- Experience managing multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of revenue generation.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence dealing with clients, suppliers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing event teams.
- The ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible approach to working evenings and weekends when required.
