Job Description- Job Type: Permanent

- Salary and benefits: £60,000 – £74,000 depending on experience plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12× salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3× volunteering days and more.

We’re recruiting for a Performance Analyst to join our External Performance and Analysis Team.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain regular peer benchmarking of KPIs.
- Prepare competitor and industry reports to inform Group CEO, Group and Life Co CFOs, IR and strategy.
- Provide decision support / modelling to support external narrative.
- Support ad‑hoc strategy and Board requests with external data.
- Support preparation of investor presentations, results packs and Q&A.
- Provide peer and market data for IR narratives.
- Anticipate investor/analyst questions with robust analysis.
- Work with CFO/IR to ensure external messages align with internal insight.
- Support coordination and consolidation of scorecards across the organisation and provide suggestions and recommendations to the REMCO for Annual Incentive Planning and Long Term Incentive Planning.
We’re seeking a commercially minded finance professional with a strong background in FP&A or commercial finance. Sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and presentation abilities, will allow you to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for external audiences.
You have a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy, can confidently synthesise financial information, and navigate shifting priorities and deadlines. You manage stakeholders across all levels of the organisation and are an effective, collaborative partner.
Essential- Proven experience in FP&A or commercial finance.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong awareness of external market dynamics and ability to apply this insight to financial planning and performance analysis.
