Trinity House Group are exclusively partnering with a high-growth listed corporate that is actively expanding its already impressive portfolio through acquisition. With significant M&A activity planned over the next five years, the business is investing in a brand-new, end-to-end in-house M&A function. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in shaping how the function evolves. Successful hires will have clear progression routes either within the M&A team or into the wider Group Finance function over time.
Responsibilities- Lead financial due diligence across acquisition opportunities
- Own valuation, modelling and investment case development
- Partner with senior stakeholders to assess strategic fit and value creation
- Manage external advisers throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Review and challenge diligence findings and assumptions
- Support deal structuring and negotiation with robust analysis
- Prepare high-quality papers for executive and board approval
- Support post-acquisition performance tracking and integration planning
- Trained within a top ten accountancy or advisory practice
- Strong, hands-on background in financial due diligence
- Excellent financial modelling and valuation capability
- Experience supporting or leading mid-market M&A transactions
- Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions
- Qualified accountant (ACA / CA or equivalent) preferred
