We are seeking a commercially astute Head of Finance Business Partnering to lead and elevate our finance partnering capability. This is a senior leadership role, acting as a trusted advisor to operational and executive leaders, shaping decision-making through insight, challenge and influence.
You will build a high-performing team, embed strong performance management across the business, and ensure financial insight is clear, credible and action-focused.
Your Tasks- Partner executive and senior operational leaders to drive financial understanding, accountability and performance management.
- Provide strategic financial insight to support growth initiatives, pricing strategy and profitability improvement.
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor, influencing key business decisions through clear, evidence-based analysis.
- Lead, develop and inspire the Finance Business Partnering team, embedding a strong commercial and performance-focused culture.
- Own executive financial reporting, including the monthly Finance Pack, ensuring clear, accurate and decision-focused insight.
- Lead client profitability reporting, budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting, providing concise executive commentary that drives action.
- Embed strong performance management disciplines across the business, proactively identifying opportunities for margin improvement, cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
- Ensure strong financial control and governance, including balance sheet integrity and oversight of key account reconciliations.
- Oversee project financial reporting, improving the review of project expenditure and ensuring accurate reporting to executive leadership and the Board.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support reporting, pricing, investment decisions and long-term planning.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience partnering with executive and senior operational stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with advanced analytical capability.
- Significant ERP experience, particularly SAP, with strong financial reporting expertise.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Confident, credible and able to influence at senior levels.
