Group Financial Controller

We’re recruiting a Group Finance Controller to lead financial control, reporting, and performance management across a multi-site FMCG business. This is a pivotal role, managing a team of 12 finance professionals and partnering closely with the senior leadership team to drive financial excellence, governance, and commercial insight.

As Group Finance Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a team of 12 across financial control, reporting, and transactional finance
• Owning the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Ensuring strong financial governance, controls, and compliance
• Overseeing group statutory reporting and audit processes
• Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and controls
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-making
• Managing cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet integrity
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles

You will be:

• A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Experienced in FMCG, manufacturing, or a fast-paced multi-site environment
• A confident people leader with experience managing large finance teams
• Strong in financial control, reporting, and process improvement
• Commercially minded with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Comfortable operating at Group / Board level
