Management Accountant

Numbers tell a story. We’re looking for someone who knows how to read it — and challenge it.

If you’re commercially aware, detail-driven and comfortable working across multiple entities at pace, this could be your next move.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role within a fast-moving environment. You’ll be trusted to keep the numbers tight, the reporting sharp and the controls strong.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Daily reporting and processing of subsidiary transactions
• Producing monthly management account packs (with full analysis and variance reporting) within a 4-day deadline
• Processing vendor and customer invoices via Microsoft Business Central
• Uploading supplier payment runs, reconciling payments and issuing remittances
• Recording bank and intercompany transactions
• Completing quarterly VAT returns
• Reconciling PAYE and P32S back to the HMRC portal
• Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register
• Weekly debtors and creditors reporting, including credit control where required
• Liaising with department heads to provide meaningful financial insight
• Reviewing supplier contracts to ensure value and performance

You won’t just report numbers — you’ll help shape decisions.

• Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) — or qualified by experience
• Experience in a Management Accountant (or similar) role, ideally in a multi-entity environment
• A track record of delivering monthly management accounts to tight deadlines
• Strong working knowledge of VAT, PAYE, P32 reconciliations and HMRC reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems confidence
• Analytical thinking with exceptional attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise, challenge and deliver in a busy environment
