Senior FP&A Lead

We’re partnering with a forward-thinking business in Birmingham looking to appoint a commercially minded FP&A Lead to drive automation, elevate reporting, and modernise the finance function.

You’ll lead the evolution of FP&A by embedding automation, optimising FP&A tools, and leveraging Power BI to deliver real‑time, data‑driven insight to senior stakeholders.

You’ll sit at the intersection of finance and technology, building smarter processes, reducing manual intervention, and improving forecasting accuracy and business visibility.

• Lead automation initiatives across budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• Own and enhance FP&A systems and planning tools
• Improve data integrity, governance and reporting speed
• Partner with IT and operational leaders to drive systems integration
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing FP&A team

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven track record of delivering automation or systems improvements
• Advanced Power BI capability (dashboard build, data modelling, DAX)
• Technically confident with ERP and planning systems
• Commercially sharp, able to influence senior stakeholders
