Part-Qualified Management Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for a PQ Management Accountant to join a professional services organisation in Birmingham. The role involves providing financial insights and support to the Accounting & Finance department to drive informed decision-making.

• Draft, update and maintain monthly management reporting packs.
• Partner with stakeholders across multiple departments to explain variances and support decision‑making.
• Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis and presentations for senior finance leadership.
• Support the annual budgeting process, including reviewing submissions and leading stakeholder discussions.
• Consolidate UK and international budget data and assist with commentary.
• Contribute to ERP system implementation by helping shape coding structures and validating reporting outputs.
• Test journals and system processes to ensure accuracy and compliance during the transition.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, journals, and variance analysis.
• Produce consolidated group management accounts and ensure accurate, timely reporting.

• Part‑qualified ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW (or equivalent)
• Confident producing full management accounts end‑to‑end
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑facing ability
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently
• Calm, organised and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment

• Salary ranging from £40,500 to £45,000 per annum.
