Finance Manager

We’re working with a specialist property finance lender and they’re looking to hire a Head of Finance to take real ownership of the function.

This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role suited to someone who wants more responsibility, visibility and influence than a traditional “in‑house finance” position offers.

You’ll run the day‑to‑day finance function for the business, working closely with senior leadership and playing a genuine part in strategic and board‑level discussions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ownership of the finance function (lots of autonomy)
• Producing management accounts, statutory filings and forecasts
• Cashflow management and forecasting across multiple funding lines
• Financial and covenant reporting to institutional funders
• Understanding income across performing and non‑performing loans
• Helping bring structure and clarity to a fast‑moving environment

• Qualified accountant with experience in a lender / bank / credit or asset‑backed business
• Strong understanding of how lending businesses make money (interest, fees, impairments, cash collection)
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on role
• Resilient, pragmatic and adaptable – priorities can change day‑to‑day
