Part-time In-house Tax Manager

JSS Tax are hiring for a part-time in-house Tax Manager for the sales and distribution arm of a large multinational conglomerate.

This is a permanent, part-time role (circa 25-30 hours per week) covering the European region.

The role is based out of their Hertfordshire office with a hybrid working policy.

The position comes with a salary of circa £80k-£90k pro-rata.

Responsibilities include:

Corporate tax:

• Management of outsourced CT compliance for the UK and branches in Europe
• Deferred tax computations
• Country-by-country reporting
• General CT advisory and oversight of tax compliance processes
• Prepare TP documentation for all countries and benchmarking analysis
• Advise senior management on the Transfer Pricing impact of new acquisitions
• Adapt and improve Transfer Pricing policies

VAT:

• Prepare monthly/quarterly VAT returns
• Reconcile VAT accounts and ensure VAT compliance in all locations
• Oversight of VAT returns submission for the UK and Europe
• Advise senior management on VAT issues, particularly on cross-border transactions
