Head Of Finance

We are partnering with a well-established housing association in the West Midlands region to recruit a Head of Finance. This is a key role with responsibility for overseeing the organisation’s financial business partnering, financial accounting, and payroll functions.

• Lead financial control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering
• Oversee statutory accounts, audits, regulatory returns, payroll, and balance sheet integrity
• Deliver accurate management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
• Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a proactive business partnering culture
• Partner with stakeholders to improve financial performance and efficiency across the organisation
• Lead the preparation and presentation of Board-level reports, providing clear financial insight to support governance and organisational performance

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA)
• Housing sector experience
• Proven business partnering and management accounting experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Board and operational levels
• Track record of improving processes and strengthening financial controls
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop finance teams

• Annual salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + benefits
