Expatriate Tax Manager - Global Compliance

We provide expatriate tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of clients with an international presence/focus. UK employment tax experience/knowledge would also be helpful but is not essential.

The primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of existing clients and assist with the development of targets to ensure continued business growth. You will also provide assistance to senior members of staff in both client work and group management, as appropriate.

Key to the role is proactive workload management and regular communication with directors and partners. Expectation to identify and highlight further opportunities to develop new work.

• Significant understanding and previous experience within expatriate tax compliance, dealing with the annual tax return process for both small clients and those with many assignees.
• Knowledge of recent key updates and areas of focus in expatriate tax, e.g., Statutory Residence Test, Short Term Business Visitors, Non-Resident Directors.
• Expatriate tax advisory experience.
• Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio.
• Demonstrable staff management experience.
• Active ability to seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clients.
• Experience dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders.
• Educated to degree level and/or CTA, ACA qualified, or qualified by experience.
