Job Overview

The West Midlands CAMHs Provider Collaborative (WMCPC) Commissioning Hub is a delegated function acting on behalf of Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. It is responsible for robust financial monitoring of all providers within the WMCPC and for ensuring that the strategic objectives of the WMCPC are realised through an agreed programme of work and investments.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Deputy Finance Manager in maintaining the financial ledger and providing financial management support and advice to the WMCPC.
  • Process accounting information in accordance with the monthly timetable, ensuring reporting requirements are met.
  • Complete financial transactions and support financial monitoring of all providers within the WMCPC.
  • Participate in training and study for a Professional Accounting Qualification through a CCAB body.
Qualifications
  • Graduate or equivalent, eligible to commence study for CCAB or CIMA qualifications.
  • Part CCAB / CIMA qualified or AAT qualified.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience working within an NHS management accounting finance function.
Analytical & Judgement Skills
  • Capable of detailed numeric calculations and possessing strong analytical skills.
  • High competency using computer spreadsheet applications.
Professional Knowledge
  • Produce concise, accurate, and timely reports.
  • Working knowledge of SBS Oracle finance system and Microsoft Office.
Personal Skills & Attributes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication with finance and non‑finance colleagues.
  • Composed, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
  • Effective concept communication.
  • Willingness to embrace change.
