Assistant Accountant

Are you looking to work for a fast paced business with international presence based in Luton? This is a varied role offering full exposure across purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, multi-currency accounting, and European VAT. You will be involved in day-to day finance operations from the outset, with genuine scope to develop and take on increased responsibility over time.

A key part of this role includes supporting the European division, with the opportunity to progress into ownership of the P&L as you grow.

Key Responsibilities Processing supplier invoices, credit notes and resolving queries Supporting payment runs, cash flow forecasting and expenses Managing sales ledger, credit control and customer invoicing systems Reconciling multi-currency accounts across UK and Europe Assisting with EC Sales Lists, VAT returns and European reporting Supporting month-end close, payroll timesheets and reporting Involvement in finance projects and process improvements What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Comfortable working in a fast-paced, varied role Previous finance experience ideally with some exposure to month end Interest in developing a career in finance Why Apply?
