Solicitor – Banking and Finance

• Responsible for the day to day running of transactions. Leading and managing matters, coordinating parties and driving transactions efficiently.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating banking and capital markets documentation for funder and borrower clients (as applicable).
• Providing support to other fee earners within the Governance, Corporate and Funding Group (in which the Funding Team sits) to share knowledge and expertise.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships (on both the funder and borrower side).
• Building a presence (and supporting the growth of the Funding Team’s presence) within all relevant sectors.
• Meeting/exceeding monthly billing targets.

• Qualified solicitor/Associate with 2+ years’ PQE in banking/finance is desirable
• Strong lender-side experience in real estate finance.
• Exposure to social housing finance transactions desirable.
• Experience in capital market transactions desirable.
• Proven ability to manage complex matters and stakeholder relationships.

Demonstrates expertise in managing banking and capital markets transactions, with a strong focus on lender-side real estate finance and stakeholder relationship management. Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex documentation while exceeding billing targets.
