Revenue Controller FTC

Position: Revenue Controller 12 month FTC
I am currently assisting one of my established Law Firm clients with the search for a Revenue Controller on a 12 month fixed term basis.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end billing process for designated business areas. Produce and process draft bills in line with stakeholder requirements. Review and validate disbursements and chargeable costs prior to billing. Monitor work-in-progress balances and work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely billing. Ensure electronic bills are submitted accurately and within client requirements. Respond to requests for financial information, including work-in-progress and cost updates.

Liaise with colleagues across finance functions to support collections and resolve billing-related issues. Maintain accurate financial records and support ongoing revenue management activities.

Key requirements:

Previous experience in revenue control, legal billing, or professional services finance. Strong understanding of the end-to-end billing lifecycle. Experience using electronic billing platforms. Knowledge of finance and practice management systems. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Proven ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
