Assistant Management Accountant Oldham £35,000–£40,000 For an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant looking for a genuine route into a fully-fledged Management Accountant position, this is an opportunity to take your career to the next level. Reporting directly to an experienced Finance Director, you’ll become a key point of contact for finance across the business, working closely with different departments and building strong commercial relationships.

You’ll gain broad exposure across the finance function while taking increasing ownership of the month-end process, management accounts and financial reporting. You’ll also work closely with department heads on budgeting and forecasting, helping improve financial accuracy and commercial insight. Communication skills are key. You’ll need to be confident liaising with non-finance colleagues, explaining financial information clearly and acting as a trusted finance contact across the business.

As you develop, you’ll have the opportunity to present financial information internally, attend senior management meetings and support the Finance Director with commercial decision-making. The business will fully support your ACCA or CIMA studies , including exam support and study leave. The culture is genuinely focused on development.
