You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, client-focused financial planning support, working closely with advisers to produce technically robust advice and help clients achieve their long-term objectives. The Opportunity You will be responsible for preparing and writing high-quality suitability reports, carrying out technical research, supporting annual reviews and contributing to the delivery of an exceptional client experience. This is a supportive and developmental environment offering full study support for those progressing toward Chartered status , with potential longer-term progression opportunities within Financial Planning, subject to business requirements and team structure.
Key Responsibilities Prepare high-quality, compliant and client-focused suitability reports and advice documentation Produce cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis to support long-term client objectives Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, tax planning and estate planning matters Support Financial Planners with annual reviews and ongoing client servicing requirements Attend client meetings where required, prepare meeting notes and assist with follow-up actions Work closely with advisers and internal stakeholders to support delivery and commercial objectives Manage your own workflow effectively, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, templates and best practice within the team Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of legislation, regulation and market developments About You You will be an experienced Paraplanner with strong technical capability and a proactive, collaborative approach.
Requirements:
Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential) Progress towards Chartered status would be highly advantageous , particularly for candidates seeking remuneration at the upper end of the salary range Minimum 3 years’ paraplanning experience within a financial planning or wealth management environment Strong technical knowledge across:
