You will oversee a team of two Paraplanners whilst also providing technical guidance to three Trainee Advisers. The role remains hands-on from a paraplanning perspective, making it ideal for someone who enjoys technical research, report writing and helping to solve complex client planning challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting a team of two Paraplanners Acting as the technical expert within the business Providing guidance and technical support to three Trainee Advisers Producing and reviewing suitability reports Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and protection Assisting with complex client cases and financial planning strategies Maintaining high standards of report writing and compliance Supporting the ongoing development of junior team members Contributing to process improvements across the technical function About You To be considered, you will have:
Significant paraplanning experience within a financial planning environment Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, retirement planning and taxation Experience dealing with complex financial planning cases Excellent report writing and analytical skills The ability to support and develop less experienced colleagues Diploma qualified or working towards Chartered status would be advantageous Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Previous line management experience would be beneficial, but the firm is placing greater emphasis on technical capability and leadership by example.
