Job Description & How to Apply Below
Trinity House Group is currently partnering with an organisation in West Midlands that's going through an exciting period of growth, acquisition and integration. They're looking for a dynamic leader to drive financial transformation and embed best in class processes.
You will be a key member of the senior leadership team and lead the finance function during an important phase of growth and change.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the full finance function: accounting, management reporting, cash flow, forecasting, budgeting, tax, treasury, and compliance.
- Drive and deliver post-acquisition integration: aligning financial systems, controls, reporting, and business partner model across newly acquired businesses.
- Act as strategic partner to the CEO and commercial leadership team: providing financial insight, scenario modelling and strategic options to support growth and value creation.
- Develop and implement a finance transformation roadmap: process optimisation, automation, improved MI, and reporting frameworks.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team: building capability, enhancing business partnering, embedding strong control culture.
- Manage and optimise working capital, cost base, profitability and cash conversion across business units.
- Ensure the business remains compliant with relevant financial regulations and has robust internal controls.
- Prepare and present regular management accounts, board packs and acquisition business case/integration reports.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven experience as a Finance Director (or equivalent) within an acquisitive business or one undergoing significant transformation/integration.
- Excellent commercial acumen: you understand the business as well as the numbers and can influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience of leading finance transformation: process redesign, system implementation/automation, MI enhancement.
- Strong leadership and team-development skills: you can uplift a finance team, embed business partnering and drive performance.
- Excellent communication skills: comfortable presenting to board/CEO/MD, engaging with senior stakeholders, translating financial insight into business action.
- Salary of £110,000–£125,000 plus attractive benefits package including enhanced pension
- Hands-on, influential role: you won’t be stuck purely in the numbers — you’ll help steer the business.
- Be part of a team that’s ambitious, dynamic and undergoing exciting transformation and growth.
