Head of Finance and Compliance

Citizens Advice Sandwell & Walsall are seeking an experienced senior finance leader to join our Executive Management Team. This is an opportunity to influence the direction of an ambitious charity, ensuring strong financial leadership and effective governance support services that make a lasting difference to our communities.

Working closely with our Chief Executive Officer, Executive Management Team and Board of Trustees, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across finance, compliance and internal audit. You will lead financial planning and forecasting, strengthen oversight of contracts and grants and provide the insight and assurance needed to make informed decisions about our resources, risks and future investment.

We are looking for a leader who combines strategic thinking with a practical approach to delivery. You will bring senior finance leadership experience, a strong understanding of charity finance, compliance and risk and the confidence to advise and constructively challenge at executive and board level. Your ability to develop colleagues, improve systems and build strong relationships across the organisation will be central to your success.
