They are on the lookout for an experienced and talented Town Planner/Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in Birmingham.

Duties for the role of Town Planner/Senior Town Planner:

Provide planning advice to clients across various development projects
Manage planning applications from inception through to determination
Prepare planning appraisals and statements to support planning documentation
Liaise with local planning authorities, clients and stakeholders
Support strategic planning and development projects

Skills and experience for the role of Town Planner/Senior Town Planner:

Degree within Town Planning or another related degree
Relevant experience in a Town Planning role within a planning consultancy or local authority
Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy
Previous experience with planning applications and development projects
Strong commercial awareness and ability to build and maintain client relationships
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Achieved or working towards RTPI chartership
