We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Dietitian to join our friendly and supportive team of Paediatric Dietitians.
The post holder will work alongside a Band 6 Dietitian, a Dietetic Assistant and the multidisciplinary team to provide dietetic support to infants and children within the general paediatrics teams, delivering high‑quality and safe care.
Responsibilities- Work alongside a Band 6 Dietitian, a Dietetic Assistant and the MDT to provide dietetic support to infants and children in the general paediatrics teams.
- Contribute to ward rounds, MDT meetings and attend paediatric clinics.
- Provide leadership and supervision to 2 Band 6 Dietitians and a Dietetic Assistant.
- Assist with service development and improvement within the paediatric dietetic service.
- Manage a general paediatric caseload, including inpatients and dietetic‑led outpatient clinics.
- Qualified Dietitian with post‑registration clinical paediatric dietetic experience gained in an acute or community setting.
- Demonstrated ambition and suitability to work in a specialist tertiary hospital setting.
- 0.5 WTE part‑time fixed term for 6 months (days may be agreed with the successful candidate).
