Role overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recovery Worker to join a Substance Misuse service in Knowsley, Merseyside on a full-time locum basis for an initial three-month contract
.

This role is ideal for professionals with CRiis system knowledge and experience managing both opiate and non-opiate caseloads
. Candidates with previous experience working with Change Grow Live (CGL) services will be given preference.

You will play a key role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey, delivering structured interventions and working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

What you will do

Manage a caseload of clients experiencing substance misuse issues.

Complete comprehensive assessments and develop personalised recovery plans.

Deliver one-to-one and group-based recovery interventions.

Support clients with both opiate and non-opiate substance misuse needs.

Liaise with external agencies and partner organisations to coordinate care and support.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant client records using CRiis systems
.

Promote harm reduction, recovery, and sustained engagement with services.
