Job Summary
To provide administrative support in the booking centre using the electronic booking system and to provide administrative support to patients, clinicians and other Trust Staff. Take calls from patients, carers, members of the public and Health/Social Care staff. Adhering to policies and procedures, maintaining strict confidentiality regarding all information concerning patients and staff in accordance with Caldicott Guidance and Data Protection Act 1998.
Use of IT packages and Systems.
To work as part of a team and individually to provide high‑quality booking services. Provide an effective and efficient, customer‑friendly service to all patients and carers. Answer telephone enquiries within the busy call centre from patients and other healthcare departments/professionals. Process electronic and paper referrals daily – e.g., date‑stamp and monitor upon receipt using any necessary electronic systems.

Person Specification- Experience working in a clerical background, preferably in a booking/call centre

- Relevant experience or evidence that demonstrates understanding in English & Maths
