Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Occupational Hygienist to ensure occupational health, safety, ergonomics, and human factors are fully integrated into project design. The role focuses on eliminating or minimising health risks at source, preventing occupational disease, and reducing long-term health impacts. The successful candidate will provide expertise across all project phases, from concept and preliminary design through to detailed design and handover, ensuring health-focused design solutions are implemented.

Essential:
Qualification in occupational health & safety, ergonomics, human factors, or related disciplines. Proven experience managing occupational health risks in design (noise, vibration, respiration, hazardous substances, MSDs, mental health). Knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practice. Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration. Exposure monitoring and audit plan development experience. Desirable:
Experience in construction and/or rail industries. Experience producing detailed written OH reports. SEQOHS accreditation (Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service).
