This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Social Worker to join the Assessment and Short Term Intervention Team in Birmingham. With a competitive hourly rate of £30.57, this ongoing full-time role is based in the vibrant city of Birmingham. Our team seeks an accomplished individual who can successfully conduct S17 and S47 assessments. What you will do:

– Conduct thorough S17 and S47 assessments.
– Engage and support children and families to improve outcomes.
– Work closely within a 5-week duty cycle, ensuring most tasks are completed before the next cycle.
– Be present at Lifford House two days a week, with full attendance during duty weeks.
– Collaborate with team members, including five permanent team managers and a dedicated Head of Service.
– Foster a positive impact on the lives of families in South Birmingham.
