Are you an experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for neurological rehabilitation and respiratory care?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our specialist multidisciplinary team in Birmingham on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals living with complex neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries, delivering high‑quality rehabilitation that makes a genuine difference to people's lives.
Working across our inpatient and outpatient services, you will support clients with a range of complex physical, neurological and respiratory needs, including individuals requiring tracheostomy management and chest physiotherapy. You will be part of a highly experienced MDT, contributing to personalised rehabilitation programmes that maximise independence, function and quality of life.
Our recently refurbished service has benefited from significant investment in rehabilitation technology, including robotic‑assisted therapy systems such as the Luna EMG Premium and Exo Motus M4. These tools complement – rather than replace – the expert clinical skills of our therapists, enabling intensive, goal‑focused rehabilitation and measurable outcomes.
This role would particularly suit a Physiotherapist currently working in neuro rehabilitation, respiratory care, stroke rehabilitation, major trauma, spinal injury, or complex community rehabilitation who is looking for a part‑time opportunity within a specialist service.
Please note - this advert will close once we have received a sufficient number of applications.
The role:Our standard working hours are 18.75 per week, typically worked Monday to Friday. As the service continues to develop, there will be an expectation to transition to a 7‑day working model. The 2.5 day‑a‑week structure makes it ideal for individuals who have other professional, academic, or personal commitments, offering genuine flexibility in how the role is integrated into your schedule. This opportunity allows you to apply and develop your neurorehabilitation expertise within a supportive team, while also maintaining the freedom to pursue interests in other specialties or client groups.
