Shift and schedule:
Tuesday, Fri 10am - 6pm & Weds 12pm - 6pm

Priority Recruitment are excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Female Support Worker in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity helping a Male with a Brain Injury live as independently as possible in his own home.
We are searching for Female Support Workers who share our belief that disability is not a barrier, and it doesn’t have to stop our service users from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Previous experience in complex care, counselling or psychology preferred.

Experience of Traumatic brain injury is essential.

Salary & Benefits:

Pay rate is £14.57 per hour.
Weekly pay every Friday.

Supporting a male with a Traumatic Brain Injury.
1:1 care package supporting in the client's home and community.
Companionship support work.
Support with planning daily schedule and attending planned activities and events.  
Assist with meal prep and household tasks. 
No personal care is needed.
The individual loves being active. He enjoys going to the gym, also has interests in politics, climate change, rock music, motorbikes, puzzles, and sport in particular cricket & rugby. 
The shifts are Tuesdays and Fridays - 10am - 6pm Wednesday 12 - 6  
Successful Applicant:

Must have a full UK Driving License (manual or automatic) 
Previous experience working with complex conditions (e.g. brain injury) 
A background in counselling or psychology would be beneficial.
Must be resilient and able to manage challenging behaviours.
Must be pro active and have the ability to research and plan activities.
Experience in rehabilitation.
