We have an exciting opportunity for a Medicines Management Pharmacist to join the established Pharmacy Team. The role will be supporting our healthcare and operational colleagues to deliver the safe and effective use of medicines. The successful candidate will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have experience of substance misuse services.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled Pharmacist, to contribute fully to the delivery and development of our medicines management programme. The role will include undertaking medicines management duties at Park House Inpatient Treatment Service, reviewing incidents, policy and procedure development, formulary maintenance, undertaking audits, delivering learning & development training tools, providing medical information and carrying out financial data analysis.
This role requires two days on site at Park House Inpatient Treatment Service (Birmingham) and three days working remotely from home.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will provide comprehensive medicines management support to ensure safe and effective use of medicines at Park House and across the organisation and will work with clinical and operational colleagues to promote best practice in relation to medication use.
The post-holder will be expected to take responsibility for personal development, identifying personal training needs and participate in regular supervision and appraisal.
