Position: Care Home - Residential Care Assistant - £23 p/h
Care Assistant - Island Placements (Urgent Start) Locations:
Care Homes across Shetland, Orkney, Western Isles, & Argyll and Bute Pay Rates: £21.00/hr (Umbrella) | £17.91/hr (PAYE Rolled-Up)

Ability to work 5-6 days per week.

Shifts:

Typically between 07:00 - 22:00 (including potential for split shifts, long days, and night shifts).

Key Responsibilities Direct Care & Support:
Provide high-quality, person-centered care to older adults within a care home setting, strictly following personalized care plans. Daily Living Assistance:
Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Medication Administration:
Safely administer prescribed medications and closely monitor resident well-being. Safety & Teamwork:
Maintain a safe, supportive living environment, managing moving and handling tasks safely, and undertaking lone working duties where required. Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting older adults in a care setting (previous care home experience is highly preferred). Core

Skills:

Proficient in personal care, safe moving and handling, and medication administration. Location Flexibility:
Previous experience with island or remote placements is a major plus, but not essential. Driving License: A driving license is preferred due to travel distances, but not mandatory . Gender-Specific Roles:
We are specifically seeking female staff due to the personal care requirements of our current residents; however, male staff may be utilized in certain circumstances.
