An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position within Endoscopy at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust. This specialty requires a proactive individual capable of taking responsibility for ensuring achievement of national waiting time targets and managing efficient booking processes across multiple sites in response to the needs of a diverse and critical patient group. Experience and knowledge in endoscopy bookings is essential including waiting list experience and knowledge of endoscopy procedures.
We would welcome applicants who do not hold Business Administrator level 3 qualification as this could be offered during employment.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder must have excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their own workload and have a professional attitude. They must be capable of liaising professionally with patients, and with colleagues at all levels, including senior consultants and nurses from across the Trust.
You will also need an overview of the national 6 week diagnostic target, cancer pathways and 18 week pathway management systems.

Qualifications- Good standard of general education (GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English)
- Customer Service experience
- Basic keyboard and computer skills
- Relevant clerical experience
- Experience of patient information system (eg Medway or PiMS)
