Medical Records Officer

We are looking for a friendly, organised and patient-focused Medical Records Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career within a healthcare environment. The Medical Records Officer plays an important role in supporting safe, high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for ensuring patient records are maintained to a high standard across both paper and electronic systems. Accuracy, attention to detail and good record management are essential.

The post holder is expected to take pride in their work, maintain high professional standards and contribute positively to the effective delivery of healthcare services across the MSG.

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week providing cover for maternity leave. The post holder is expected to be in post until 31st May 2027.

Previous medical record experience is helpful but not essential - we're looking for people with the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
