Band 6 Health Visitor

Band 6 Health Visitor – Basildon, Essex Red Sector Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Band 6 Health Visitor for an opportunity in Basildon, Essex. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary Healthy Family Team, delivering the Healthy Child Programme and supporting children and families across the local community.

Key Responsibilities Manage a defined Health Visiting caseload. Assess the health and wellbeing needs of children and families. Deliver the Healthy Child Programme and targeted interventions. Develop personalised care and support plans. Work with children and families subject to Child Protection Plans. Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns. Work closely with social care, paediatric services and other partner agencies. Contribute to multi-agency assessments and meetings.

Essential Requirements Must hold a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) qualification in Health Visiting. Must be familiar and confident using Systm One (Systm1). Current NMC registration. Previous Health Visiting experience. Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience. Experience managing a community caseload. Confident working within multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams.
