Our Imaging Department plays an essential role in the Trust, offering a range of diagnostic tests. The MRI department has a recently refurbished Siemens Vida Fit 3T scanner and a Siemens Sola 1.5T scanner installed 2 years ago. This high level of investment by the Trust ensures we can provide the best imaging facilities for our patients.

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a fixed term, experienced Senior MRI Radiographer, with a passion for MRI, for maternity cover.

The hours of the MRI unit are 07:30-20:00 Monday to Friday, and 07:30-17:30 on Saturday and Sunday. The successful applicant will be required to work within this rota as required. Participation in the spinal out of hour’s MRI on-call rota will also be required.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person. You will need to be motivated to learn, flexible and enthusiastic to develop your skills. You should have experience in the NHS and MRI with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will play a key role in patient care, so you should be positive, adaptable, and work to high standards to ensure our Trust maintains its good reputation.
