Care Assistant Mornings - Domiciliary

We are recruiting Care Assistants in Solihull and surrounding areas for both part-time and full-time care jobs. Flexible hours are available, with contracted hours up to 30 hours per week. We particularly need carers to work early mornings (7am–9am) and evenings (7pm–10pm), including alternate weekends or the same day each weekend.

• Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing)
• Administer medications safely as per guidance
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage wellbeing
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs
• Support with mobility assistance (e.g. transfers to chairs/wheelchairs)
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations

• Full UK Driving Licence, access to a car, and business insurance
• Right to work in the UK
• A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Previous experience in care work, support work, domiciliary care, or home care is desirable but not essential – we provide full training

The following statements are disclosed as part of recruitment requirements and policy: The post is exempt from the provision of Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) (Amendment) Orders 1975 and 2001 and therefore all convictions, cautions and bind-overs, including those regarded as ‘spent’, must be declared. If appointed, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced criminal record check will be carried out.

• Excellent hourly pay – £14 to £28 per hour
