We are now seeking Test Centre Administrators to join our growing team in Birmingham West
.
You will be required to work a minimum of 16 hours per week .
The pay rate for this role is £13.60 per hour , paid monthly.

Location and Training InformationThis position is being recruited to support our new Birmingham West Test Centre , which is scheduled to open in November .
Until the new site becomes operational, successful candidates will complete their onboarding, induction, and training at our existing Test Centres . Once Birmingham West opens, colleagues recruited through this campaign will transfer to and be based at the new Birmingham West location.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a variety of candidates undertaking professional, academic, and certification examinations. As a Test Centre Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering secure examinations while providing an outstanding customer experience in a professional and welcoming environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Welcome, greet, and check in candidates upon arrival.
- Verify candidate identification and explain examination procedures and rules.
- Ensure full compliance with all testing security standards, procedures, and company policies.
- Invigilate examinations and monitor candidates throughout the testing process.
- Liaise with internal support teams, including IT, to resolve technical issues when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional testing environment, including routine housekeeping duties such as sanitizing workstations and equipment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the integrity and security of the testing process.
- Exercise sound judgement and follow all Pearson VUE operational and security procedures.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience working within diverse professional teams while helping candidates through an important milestone in their personal and professional development.
As our test centres operate during early mornings, evenings, and weekends, we are looking for individuals who can work a variety of shifts across Monday to Sunday and meet the minimum contracted requirement of 16 hours per week.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures.
- Confidence working in a quiet and highly regulated environment.
- The ability to monitor candidate behaviour effectively and identify irregularities.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
You should also be comfortable sitting for extended periods, escorting candidates to and from testing rooms, and working independently while maintaining high levels of professionalism and accuracy.
