I am seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join a fast-paced manufacturing site. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on generalist role, supporting everything from recruitment and employee relations to training and engagement initiatives. You’ll be a key player in delivering the local HR strategy, helping to achieve both short- and long-term business goals.

Job Description

Lead new starter inductions and maintain accurate HR and TA system records
Oversee general HR administration including time & attendance, holidays, contract changes, and absence management
Coordinate training courses in line with the training plan, supporting apprenticeship recruitment and development
Collate and report on HR metrics and support wider HR initiatives and projects
Provide employee relations support, including investigations, absence reviews, and engagement activities
Coach and support line managers to build capability and confidence in managing their teams
Partner with the site leadership team to deliver HR support and general administration

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Part CIPD Level 5 qualified, with 4–5 years relevant HR experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong employee relations experience, with confidence in handling complex cases
Proven coaching skills to develop and support line managers
High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and able to manage competing priorities
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to produce reports, metrics, and data insights
Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working independently or as part of a close-knit team
