HR Officer

Loom Talent are currently partnering with an engineering/manufacturing business with a headcount of c100 employees across two sites in Leicester and Birmingham.

They are looking for a HR Officer to join them on a permanent basis reporting into the HR Manager.

This business has recently gone through an exciting period of change along with some site growth, and therefore alongside the day to day there will be some exciting incoming projects to be involved in.

Key responsibilities:

• Management of ER case work - coaching Managers on best practise and assisting in meetings
• End to end recruitment responsibilities, everything from understanding the desires for the role form the line manager - to offering the candidate post interview
• Management of site inductions and elements of onboarding
• HR systems - running reports, and coaching employees on processes and how to use it effectively
• Day to day HR Administration

Projects -

• Look into site turnover, partner with managers and execute exit interviews to understand what can be done to improve retention.
• Revamp of the recruitment and onboarding process - they do currently have processes, but they do need some streamlining
• Manage employee engagement survey - reporting on findings and establishing a plan of action based on the results
