We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of People to lead and develop our people agenda, ensuring it supports the delivery of our organisational objectives while fostering a positive, high-performing and inclusive culture.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience across RoSPA. You will provide both strategic and operational leadership across the full employee lifecycle, championing best practice in people management, organisational development, employee engagement and wellbeing. Significant experience in a senior HR or People leadership role Proven experience of developing and implementing People strategies Experience advising senior leaders, executives and leadership teams Strong expertise in employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability and absence management Experience leading organisational change, transformation programmes and restructures Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
Experience of workforce planning, talent acquisition and succession planning Experience managing payroll and pension administration Strong analytical skills with the ability to use people data and insights to support decision-making
Experience of developing reward and recognition approaches, including salary benchmarking Excellent leadership, coaching and team development skills Essential Qualifications Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow of the CIPD (Level 7 or equivalent) Desirable Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
Experience with in the charity, not-for-profit or membership sector Experience leading culture and engagement initiatives Experience supporting organisational growth and transformation programmes If this is the case, we can offer you the following:
