You will play an important role in ensuring employee data is accurate, complete and up to date, while supporting reporting, system updates and HRIS projects across the business.
A key focus of the role will be supporting the transition of employee data onto SAP Success Factors, in line with the requirements of our parent company, CMA CGM. You will work closely with the UK HR team and the HRIS team in Marseille and will have the opportunity to develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Success Factors.
The role is based in Birmingham, with a requirement to work from the office at least three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data across Workday and SAP Success Factors.
Carry out data entry, validation, checking and cleansing activities to maintain high levels of data integrity.
Support the production of standard and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards and data analysis.
Assist with HRIS system updates, testing and implementation of system enhancements.
Support the transition and ongoing management of employee data within SAP Success Factors.
Act as a key point of contact between the UK team and the HRIS team in Marseille regarding SAP Success Factors updates.
Develop specialist knowledge of SAP Success Factors and become a key Subject Matter Expert.
Work collaboratively with HR colleagues and stakeholders to resolve data and system queries.
Support system audits and data quality checks, identifying and escalating discrepancies where appropriate.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to improve HRIS processes, reporting and system efficiency.
Provide day-to-day support to operational teams with system queries, including system access and functionality.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of system documentation, process notes, training materials and user guides.
Provide administrative and analytical support to HR and HRIS projects as required.
Ensure employee data is handled securely and in accordance with data protection legislation and internal policies.
Continue to develop knowledge of HR systems, processes and reporting tools through ongoing learning and development.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, analytical and highly detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in HR systems, data and technology.
You don't necessarily need previous HRIS experience. We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong data-handling skills, confidence with IT systems and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Essential Skills and Experience
Experience working with data in an administrative, HR or analytical environment is desirable but not essential.
Experience using Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data handling.
Excellent attention to detail and a consistently high level of accuracy.
