We are looking for an experienced and proactive People Partner to join our People Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting managers and colleagues across the organisation by providing expert people advice, coaching, and guidance throughout the employee lifecycle.

Working closely with the People Team Manager and wider People Team, you will deliver a professional, solutions-focused HR service that supports organisational objectives, enhances employee experience, and drives continuous improvement.

The Role

As a People Partner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality HR support and partnering with managers across a wide range of people matters. You will manage employee relations cases, contribute to strategic people initiatives, support organisational change, and help create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & HR Advisory

Provide professional advice and coaching to managers on a range of employment matters.
Manage a varied Employee Relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and attendance cases.
Support managers throughout investigations and formal processes.
Provide guidance on organisational change and workforce-related matters.
Facilitate mediation meetings where appropriate.

Absence Management & Wellbeing

Support managers in the effective management of attendance and absence.
Work closely with Occupational Health providers to support employee wellbeing and long-term absence cases.
Coordinate and promote wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.
Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

HR Data & Reporting

Produce and analyse people metrics and reports for senior stakeholders.
Maintain data accuracy within the HR and Payroll system.
Use workforce data and insights to support informed business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Policy Development & Compliance

Review, develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and best practice.
Ensure HR processes are fair, consistent and compliant.

Strategic HR Projects

Support the development and delivery of the People Strategy.
Contribute to projects that enhance employee engagement, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.
Drive continuous improvement across the People function.

Learning & Development

Deliver training sessions, workshops and induction programmes.
Coach managers to build confidence and capability in people management.
Promote and implement new People initiatives across the organisation.

About You

We're looking for someone who can build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and confidently manage a varied workload.

Essential Skills & Experience

CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent HR experience.
Strong generalist HR experience with substantial Employee Relations case management.
Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
Experience advising and coaching managers on complex people matters.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and identify trends.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience developing HR policies and procedures.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

Desirable

CIPD Level 7 qualification.
Coaching qualification.
Experience delivering training programmes.
Mediation or conflict resolution experience.
Experience working with HR systems and reporting tools.
