Job Description & How to Apply Below

Are you an organised and approachable administrator with experience working in HR or a people-focused environment?

We’re looking for a temporary HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team and provide accurate, responsive and confidential administrative support across the employee lifecycle.

This is a varied role where you’ll act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries, maintain employee records and support essential processes including new starters, leavers, absence, payroll changes, employee relations, training and internal communications.

This is a full-time, six-month fixed-term role based on site at our manufacturing facility in Sutton Coldfield, working alongside the wider HR team. Hours are 8:30am–4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am–3:45pm on Friday.

What you’ll be doing
  • Responding to routine HR queries and escalating more complex matters when required
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Coordinating new starter, induction and leaver administration
  • Supporting absence, holiday, family leave, performance and employee-relations processes
  • Recording and submitting employee changes for payroll

Producing HR reports, trackers and management information
  • Supporting employee engagement, benefits, training and internal communications
  • Managing shared HR inboxes, calendars and filing systems
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Helping to improve HR templates, processes and ways of working
What we’re looking for

You’ll have previous administration experience within an HR or people function, alongside excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You’ll be confident managing competing priorities and communicating professionally with employees and colleagues at all levels.

You’ll also need:

  • A discreet and confidential approach
  • Confident Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A helpful, customer-focused and collaborative working style
  • The ability to use your initiative and recognise when an issue should be escalated
  • A good standard of English and Maths, or equivalent
  • CIPD Level 3 would be desirable, but it is not essential

If you’re looking for a varied HR administration role where accuracy, organisation and great employee service really matter, we’d love to hear from you.
